Registration Open for Expanded Schedule of Summer Creative Workshop Options for Adults, Children
COLUMBUS, Ohio (April 1, 2013)—Digital arts, fashion design, studio arts, and entrepreneurship are on the agenda at Columbus College of Art & Design for an expanded series of creative summer workshops and classes for youth grades 1 to 12 and for adults.
Registration is open up to the week prior to the start of each workshop or course throughout the summer. Programs begin May 13 and run through Aug. 9. Most workshops are a week long, with evening courses meeting once each week.
CCAD has expanded its residential programs for the summer. In addition to its three-week College PreView program running July 7 to July 27 for students going into grades 10 to 12, CCAD is offering new week-long residential camps during the same time period for campers going into grades 7 to 10. Student entering their sophomore year of high school can choose from the one-week or three-week option.
Online courses feature introductory and advanced level instruction for Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign software. For entrepreneurs—and would-be business owners—CCAD offers a 10-week course, Web Design for Small Business.
For a full list of youth and adult courses and to register, visit the Community Programs pages on our website or call 614.222.3248.
