Reporting directly to the board of trustees, the president is charged with the responsibility of setting the vision and tone for the college, ensuring that the educational programs are strategic and relevant, that long-term institutional viability and sustainability are ensured, and that the dynamic connectivity between the college and its constituencies (alumni, business, civic, and community) continue to grow. The successful candidate shall be a persuasive advocate for the college who is savvy at developing talent, resources, and ideas that will advance the mission and aspirations of the faculty and students. S/he will have responsibility for the strategic, programmatic, financial, and management operations that will ultimately support CCAD’s vision for preparing creative leaders for professional careers.
