Important dates
Congratulations on your choice to apply to Columbus
College of Art & Design. High school seniors should start the application
process as early as possible in their senior year for fall term admission.
2007
- December 2: College Day
12-4 p.m. A great opportunity for prospective new
students to meet CCAD faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Campus
tours begin at 10:30 a.m.
2008
- January 5: Fees due for Spring
Term
- January 10: Residence Hall opens
for new Spring Term students.
- January 11: Orientation/Registration
for new students entering Spring Term 2008.
- January 14: Spring Term begins.
- February 1: Battelle Scholarship
applications due (open to central Ohio high school seniors).
- March 1: Deadline to submit
portfolios for CCAD scholarship competition (open to high school
seniors worldwide). Mail or drop off portfolios to the CCAD
Admissions Office. Send at least 10 days prior to the deadline.
- March 3: Deadline for financial
aid for students who wish to apply for Federal Work-Study, Federal
SEOG Grant, and Federal Perkins Loan.
- March 24-28: Results of CCAD scholarship
competition announced. Each student will receive a written notice.
- Mid-April: Pre-registration
materials mailed to all accepted Fall Term 2008 students. Materials
include June orientation/registration programs, student bio sheets,
housing information, tuition, and room and board costs for 2008-2009.
Forms should be returned as soon as possible.
- May 9: Spring Term ends.
- May 16: Scholarship acceptance
cards must be returned.
- May 26: Memorial Day (no classes,
offices closed).
- June 2: Scheduling deposit ($100)
deadline.
- June 2: Deadline for all students
to apply for financial aid. Degree-seeking student are required to
apply (see March 2 deadline).
- Early July: Tuition bills mailed
to incoming students who are accepted and have paid the $100 scheduling
deposit.
- July 31: All final transcripts
and other paperwork for incoming freshman and transfer students should
be submitted by this date.
- August 21: Residence halls open.
- August 25: Fall term 2007 begins.
- September 1: Labor Day (no classes).
