Peterson, chair of Foundation Studies, teaches painting, color theory, two-dimensional design, and illustration.
The award was presented April 23 by CCAD President Denny Griffith. Afterward, Peterson (CCAD, ’83) thanked colleagues who taught her. “Great teachers make great students, who in turn become great teachers.”
