Hayakawa also was a juror for the Second Annual Northwest Ohio Open Summer Art Show at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, OH.
And, on Sept. 1 his book of paper animal sculptures Kirigami Menagerie (Lark Books) became available at Barnes & Noble bookstores and through www.amazon.com.
