A book signing party will be held Saturday, May 29, 2010 for a recently-published memoir by Clyde Kennedy (CCAD ’53).
The Hard Surface Road: A Memoir of the Great Depression is based on Kennedy’s life growing up in Belmont County, OH. Kennedy, age 87, interrupted his CCAD studies to serve in World War II.
Following the completion of his degree, Kennedy became an award-winning display artist and a master builder. He has written for Fine Homebuilding magazine and contributed to numerous other publications.
The book signing will be 1–4 p.m. at The Inn at Fairfield Village, 1834 Countryside Dr., Lancaster, OH.
