Chair Contributes to Online Arts Dialogue

Christopher A. Yates, associate professor, Fine Arts and Graduate Studies, chair, Foundation Studies, is one of the early contributors to a new online forum for arts and cultural dialogue. serves as a platform to present art and culture topics that may not be covered by mainstream media. The forum features the writing, opinions and musings of alumni from CUE Art Foundation’s Young Art Critic Mentoring Program.

Developed by CUE in collaboration with the International Association of Art Critics (AICA USA), the project gives emerging writers the opportunity to highlight rising and under-recognized artists around the globe.

Along with Yates, other initial contributors include Caitlin Haskell, Cameron Shaw, Melissa Tuckman, and Kerrie Welsh.  To read their feature stories go to Information about Yates is available at
