Danielle Julian Norton, assistant professor, Fine Arts and Graduate Studies, has been selected to receive a 2011 international artist residency in Dresden, Germany.

Julian Norton (CCAD, ’99) was cited by the Greater Columbus Art Council (GCAC) for an innovative project proposal that will take advantage of the historical and cultural resources of Dresden while advancing distinctive studio work.

The residency provides an extended period of time for artists to concentrate on research and production and makes various work and research facilities available to them, including living quarters, a monthly stipend and travel accommodations.

More details about the residency program are in GCAC’s press release.
