Alumni Jon Stommel (CCAD 2009) and Steven Benjamin (CCAD 2010) recently partnered together with Alicia Grace Passerrotti, who attended CCAD, to paint a garden-themed mural at the Columbus Metropolitan Library’s Dublin branch.

This Week Community Newspaper’s Jennifer Noblit wrote, “a donation from library patron William Kennard and funds from the Friends of the Columbus Library got the mural rolling.”

The library then turned to the Dublin Arts Council, who put out a call for artists. Of those who applied for the opportunity, the CCAD trio was selected.

“Greg Short, president of the Friends of the Library, applauded the choice of artists during the unveiling,” wrote Noblit. “’Seeing (the murals) up there right now, I think we made the right choice,’ he said.”

The mural is located at 75 N. High St. in Dublin, Ohio. To read the entire article about the mural’s unveiling, visit This Week Community Newspapers.
