Send to KindleAssociate Provost Char Norman helped created a site-specific sculpture as an entrance into her brother’s solo exhibition at Roanoke College in Virginia.
Norman, associate professor, Fine Arts, collaborated with Kurt Steger to sculpt a unique entrance into Silent Nature, Steger’s sculpture exhibition at Olin Gallery in Salem, VA. They incorporated his expertise as a woodworker and hers as an innovative maker of paper and fiber artist to craft the entryway. Norman spent six weeks crafting 550 pieces of paper for the piece.
The exhibit, which continues through February 20, is open to the public.
