Send to KindleAn installation and a digital video by Mariana Smith, adjunct instructor, Foundation Studies and Fine Arts, are included in a national juried exhibition at the University of North Carolina Asheville (UNCA).
Smith’s Windows Passing, a drawing, printmaking and one-channel video projection installation, and Horizons, a digital video, are included in Drawing Discourse: A Contemporary Exhibition in Drawing. Items for the exhibition were selected by juror Alex Kanevsky.
The exhibition is in UNCA’s S. Tucker Cooke Gallery from Friday Jan. 14 through Tuesday, Feb. 15. An opening reception is 6-8 p.m. Jan. 14 and is preceded by a juror’s lecture at 5 p.m.
Smith (CCAD, ’02) majored in Fine Arts.
