Send to KindleBill Hunt, a professor in Fine Arts and Graduate Studies, will show his latest ceramics at the historic Bear’s Mill in Greenville, OH.
An artists reception will be held 6–9 p.m. Friday, April 29. The exhibition, which includes rustic furniture by Liz Hunt and paintings by Micheline Daeman, runs through May 22.
Hunt’s recent sabbatical influenced his work in the exhibition. His new direction moves from porcelain to high-fired stoneware—some with overglaze enamels and gold luster.
“After eight months and 19,000 miles of travel looking for art and inspiration around the United States, my work is in an exciting state of transition. I produce decorative forms but always with a functional purpose,” Hunt said.
