Djahangir Pirasteh, a professor of Fine Arts, will offer a lecture and slide presentation at the 21st annual conference of the Association of the Friends of Persian Culture this September.

The gathering offers discussions of Iranian culture, especially in relation to the Baha’i faith, and celebrates aspects of the culture through performing arts and a gallery exhibition of Iranian artists.

The conference takes place Sept. 1–4 in the Chicago suburb of Schaumburg, IL (learn more about the conference online).

Pirasteh has exhibited his work in solo and group shows in the U.S. and internationally, including at the annual conference of the Center for Iranian Research and Analysis.
