Nicole Bruckman's painting "Wayward Winds"
Alumna Nicole Bruckman (CCAD 2000) has work included in an upcoming exhibition at WWA Gallery in Culver City, California.
The exhibition, About Face, features more than 40 artists who are exploring contemporary approaches to portraiture.
Bruckman pulls inspiration for her portraits from fairy tales and folklore and incorporates animals and scenes of nature in her work.
The Illustration alumna has shown with Cannibal Flower, the Hive, Regent Galleries, the Grind Gallery, United CAT, Create:Fixate, New Puppy Gallery, and Gallery Meltdown.
The exhibition will run through Feb. 11, 2012.
