James Weigle, CCAD associate professor of Fine Arts, will judge the 14th Annual Chillicothe Art League Spring Open exhibition, the largest annual art event in Chillicothe.

The show consists of 90 pieces of art from more than 50 artists. Weigel will judge and award first, second, and third place awards for two-dimensional and three-dimensional work, as well as several honorable mentions.

Weigle teaches papermaking and lithography relief printmaking courses at CCAD. He has received several Ohio Arts Council grants for coordinating youth art classes and was invited to participate in the 2007 International Printmaking Work studio at Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts in Xi’an, China.

The exhibition will run through April 28, 2012 at the Pump House Center for the Arts, located on Yoctangee Park’s Enderlin Circle.
