On Thursday, May 3, with a little more than a week before they walk to receive their diplomas, graduating seniors from the Industrial and Interior Design departments presented their final thesis projects to guests in an open reception.
An enthusiastic crowd that included families, peers, faculty, and industry professionals, toured through the displays set up by the two majors. Industrial design projects ranged fromĀ football padding to a hydro-powered bicycle, a grocery organizer, neck supporting pillows, and a wind turbine. Interior Design seniors tackled challenges that included homeless shelters, museums, learning centers, cruise ships, and funeral homes.
