Send to KindleCCAD painting professor Anita Dawson has a solo exhibition at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA, Jan. 28–May 30.
The exhibition, Emblematic Objects, will feature Dawson’s still-life paintings.
“I love still life and I love objects,” Dawson said in the event description. “My studio shelves are crowded with taxidermy birds and fishes, early 20th century toys, plastic frogs, Chinese bowls, and interesting rocks that were found while traveling on research trips to Italy, at estate sales, or in the street.”
