The Columbus Museum of Art (CMA) is showing the work of the 2012 Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC) Individual Artist Fellowship winners in an exhibition titled Surface Tension, running through Sept. 14, 2013.

Five of the six artists in the exhibition are CCAD-affiliated. SMAC instructor Laura Alexander, visiting faculty Mathew Flegle, and adjunct instructor Andrea Myers were all recipients of Individual Artist Fellowship Awards, and adjunct instructor and Fine Arts alumna Susan Li O’Connor (CCAD 2002) and adjunct instructor and Fine Arts alumna Mariana Smith (CCAD 2002) were awarded Dresden Residency Fellowships.

This is the third year that CMA has presented this GCAC exhibition. GCAC supports art and advances the culture of the region. It funds artists and arts organizations and provides programs, events, and services that educate and engage all audiences in the community.
