The show, which ran July 30–Aug. 18, was open to artists over the age of 18 working in two-dimensional media. Jurors for this year’s show were North Carolina gallery owner Jerald Melberg and Western Pennsylvania painter Thomas G. McNickle.

Lovecraft, Ursula Le Guin, and more. He also has worked for national publications including National Geographic, TIME, and Smithsonian magazine.
