Six faculty members of CCAD and six from Ohio State University melded their creativity this summer with a six-week show at OSU’s Urban Arts Space, curated by Scott Neal.
Assistant Professor and Fine Arts alumna Danielle Julian Norton (CCAD 1999) writes of the exhibition, called In League: “The pairings cross both institutions and disciplines to challenge individual processes, concepts, mediums, and modes of creation.”
The show, which ran from Aug. 1 until Sept. 14, drew 1,330 visitors; including 339 people during the Aug. 29 reception at the Urban Arts Space.
Participating from CCAD: Norton, Editorial Director Laura Bidwa, visiting faculty Mathew Flegle, Exhibitions Director Michael Goodson, adjunct Andrea Myers, and Professor and Fine Arts alumnus Tim Rietenbach (CCAD 1977). From OSU were Carmel Buckley, Suzanne Silver, Candace Black, Todd Slaughter, Jeff Haase, and John Thrasher.
