Casey Bradley’s “Carbon Footprint” is on display at the Schumacher Gallery at Capital University.

Fine Arts alumna and Associate Professor Casey Bradley (CCAD 2001) is the curator of Presence: A Dialogue with the Human Form at Capital University’s Schumacher Gallery.

The exhibition features the work of CCAD alumni and faculty among a group of artists whose work is inspired by the human figure.

“Since the dawn of creative activity, artists have been naturally inclined to adopt the human figure as subject matter,” reads the Schumacher Gallery website. “Presence brings together the work of practicing artists who demonstrate that the human form has a diverse dialogue all its own.”

Featured artists include Photography alumnus Daniel Grose (CCAD 1992) from Columbus, OH (Pleasant High School), Associate Professor and Photography alumnus Hiroshi Hayakawa (CCAD 1995) from Columbus, OH, Fine Arts alumna Sara Adrian (CCAD 1998) from Worthington, OH (Thomas Worthington High School), Fine Arts alumnus Brian Alloway (CCAD 2000) from Columbus, OH (Dublin Coffman High School), Fine Arts alumna Emily Kitturah Westenhouser (CCAD 2000) from Lancaster, OH (Lancaster High School), Fine Arts alumna Olga Ziemska (CCAD 2000) from Cleveland, OH (Trinity High School), and Fine Arts alumnus Daric Gill (CCAD 2004) from Columbus, OH (Anna High School).

The exhibition runs through Oct. 17 at the Schumacher Gallery on the fourth floor of the Blackmore Library at Capital University in Bexley. The gallery is open Monday–Saturday, 1–5 p.m.
