Colleen Clark comic appeared in the Huffington post Sept. 27.

Colleen Clark’s comic “Busted” appeared in the Huffington Post Sept. 27.

Illustration senior Collen Clark’s comics are capturing national attention. Busted, her latest comic confronting issues of female body image, appeared in the Huffington Post.

“I hope that other women can relate to the comic,” Clark told the Huffington Post in the accompanying interview.

The comics have developed quite a following on Clark’s blog, where the Huffington Post first discovered her work.

Clark isn’t a stranger to the Huffington Post—the publication first highlighted her work in an April article. “When we came across this incredible comic drawn by Colleen Clark that deals with that ongoing battle [with female body image], we had to share it,” they wrote.

Clark is from Gaithersburg, MD, and attended Colonel Zadok Magruder High School.
