Media Studies Time-Based alumnus Nate Reese (2005) and Advertising & Graphic Design alumna Chavilah Bennett (2012) worked on a new CCAD recruitment video with S77, a Columbus-based creative design studio.
The video will be shown to prospective students during admissions presentations.
Densil Porteous, director of Admissions, said having alumni work on the video behind the scenes added another layer of excitement to the process.
“[Their involvement] adds a richness of diversity to the story of our community that brings it to life in a unique way,” Porteous said.
Bennett has been with S77 since 2012 and was thrilled about the partnership.
“It wasn’t too long ago that I was part of the audience that is targeted in this video: a high school student with big hopes and dreams and very little idea of what opportunities were available or even where to begin looking,” Bennett said. “It is exciting to think that what my studio and I have helped to create might eventually lead a student to make the decision to go to CCAD.”
Reese is from Canal Winchester, OH, and attended Pickerington High School Central. Bennett is from Bay Village, OH, and attended Fairbanks High School.
