Dec. 1 deadline is fast approaching.

By Densil Porteous

The first of December only comes once year and around here and boy we’re always excited!

At CCAD the first of December signals the not too far off winter holiday when everyone (students, faculty, and staff) get a much needed respite from the constant state of moving while creating art and community.

In the Admissions Office Dec. 1 represents our spring entry application deadline as well as our fall entry application deadline for early application students.

For the admissions staff this means no more high school visits, college fairs, or national portfolio days (for the most part)…it’s now time to find their focus as they begin reviewing the dynamic applications presented by students across the country—even better, the  globe.

If you’re thinking about submitting your application by Dec. 1 don’t forget to check out our How to Apply page for helpful information. And if you find yourself still noodling over the submission process after reviewing the How to Apply page I encourage you to contact an admissions officer ( to help you out.

Dec. 1 is the 335th day of the year (336th in leap years)…. Dec. 1 is just around the corner…is your application?

  1. Eric J Kaster says:

Applicants, please know that Dec 1 is only an early action deadline, CCAD is still accepting applications, so even if you’ve missed this first priority deadline, it is not too late to apply and there are still financial aid opportunities for those who have not completed prior to December 1st.
