Columbus College of Art & Design was honored with the Global Vision Award at the Niagara Peace and Dialogue Awards on Nov. 5 in a ceremony at Ohio State University.
Created in 2003, the Niagara Foundation Ohio is a nonprofit organization that aims to promote understanding and respect between the diverse groups of Central Ohio by creating peaceful settings for interaction.
The annual awards recognize those who have contributed their time, energy, leadership, and dedication to the causes of dialog, peace, understanding, and community service.
“We are honored to extend recognition to CCAD with our Global Vision Award,” said Hilary Carr, program coordinator at Niagara Foundation Ohio. “[CCAD's] commitment to diversity, education and understanding are bridging barriers to communication and dialogue. Thank you for your service to the Columbus community and beyond.”
Past recipients of the Global Vision Award include Columbus Sister Cities International (2012) and the Columbus Council on World Affairs (2011).
