Interior Design alumna Andrea Buccasso (CCAD 2009) was awarded the PAVE (Planning and Visual Education Partnership) Rising Star on Dec. 4 in New York City for her work at FITCH, a global retail firm in Columbus.
The Rising Star is awarded to a young professional (under 35 years of age) who has proven to be a visionary and leader in the retail industry.
“Andrea exemplifies the visionary talent of an up-and-coming retail designer whose portfolio of completed projects reflects extraordinary branded environments,” said Nancy Jackson, president of Architectural Systems.
Buccasso said the recognition has allowed her to reflect on how much she has learned in the last few years.
“It’s been a lot of hard work, but a beautiful, life-changing journey,” Buccasso said.
Buccasso lives in Columbus, OH, and attended Louisville High School.
