The inaugural CCAD Continuing & Professional Studies faculty exhibition, Impact-Influence, is on display through Feb. 28 at the Carnegie Gallery in the Columbus Metropolitan Main Library.

“Columbus Metropolitan Library is a proud partner of CCAD, and we’re thrilled to showcase some of the incredible works of its talented faculty,” said Gregg Dodd, director of marketing at the library.

The exhibition features 38 works by 20 artists and is “seriously gorgeous,” said Cat Sheridan, CCAD director of Continuing & Professional Studies.

“These faculty are artists, art professionals, and art educators sharing their knowledge and inspiring our community,” Sheridan said.

“The Columbus Metropolitan Library has been an amazing contributor and support to the conceptual wealth of our community’s artists,” she added. “What a perfect place to house this first CPS faculty show.”

CCAD alumni in the exhibition include Associate Professor Hiroshi Hayakawa (Photography 1995), Chair of Animation Charlotte Belland (Advertising & Graphic Design 1997), Cyrus Fire (Illustration 2000), Brian Williams (Illustration 2003), Thom Glick (Illustration 2004), Christine D’Epiro Abbott (Fine Arts 2005), Kelly Nye (Fine Arts 2006), Brent Payne (Fine Arts 2006), Boryana Rusenova-Ina (Fine Arts 2006), Jeffrey Knick (Fine Arts 2008), and Nicki Strouss (Fine Arts 2008).
