“Goldylocks” by Christin Hutchinson (detail)

Adjunct Instructor of Foundation Studies Christin Hutchinson’s solo exhibition Luminessence will be on display at Stone Village Church Art Gallery April  5–30.

The works in Hutchinson’s show examine her personal relationship with beauty by deconstructing and distorting her face into sculptural installation paintings. Twists of curled metal will transform the space by flowing up and down the surfaces of the gallery walls, capturing the essence of the artist’s image through vibrant color, light, and form

Luminessence will open with a reception on April 5 from 5–8 p.m. at Stone Village Church,139 E. Second Ave., Columbus, OH, 43201.
