Walter King’s show “Changing Landscapes/Transitional Process” is on display at the German Village Society Meeting Haus through March 22.

Illustration Professor and alumnus Walter King (CCAD 1981) has a solo exhibition on display at the German Village Society Meeting Haus through March 22.

The exhibition, titled Changing Landscapes/Transitional Process, includes about 40 watercolor pieces, all underscored by his experience living with transverse myelitis, an autoimmune disorder.

“The watercolors are something I’ve always done,” said King in an interview with ThisWeek Community News. “Art’s therapeutic.”

King will give an artist talk March 5 from 6:30–7:30 p.m. at the German Village Society Meeting Haus, located at 588 S. Third St., Columbus, OH, 43215. Gallery hours are Monday–Friday 9 a.m.–4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
