CCAD Announces Valedictorian for Class of 2014

Columbus College of Art & Design is proud to announce the valedictorian for the class of 2014: Kevin Harkness. The Animation senior will be honored during the college’s 135th commencement ceremony.

Harkness was also honored as an Outstanding Senior for Animation. Each year, faculty select one outstanding senior from each undergraduate major for their academic excellence and artistic accomplishments.

Commencement will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, at the Palace Theatre. Retiring President Dennison W. Griffith is scheduled to deliver the commencement address.

Following graduation, Harkness will move to Nashville, TN, to work as a senior technical director and head of pipeline at Fivestone Studios.

Harkness is from Franklin, TN, and attended Fred J. Page High School.
