MFA alumna Liz Morrison (CCAD 2013) and 2015 MFA candidate Jill Raymundo will present solo exhibitions that explore cultural and personal history at ROY G BIV Gallery beginning May 3 and running through May 31.
Morrison’s paintings explore the patterns and social norms of Medieval illustration, and Raymundo traces her artistic roots by reproducing paintings created by her grandfather that were destroyed in a fire during World War II.
The gallery will hold an opening reception May 3, 7–10 p.m., and an artists’ talk May 31 at 2:30 p.m. at ROY G BIV Gallery, 997 N. High St., Columbus, OH, 43201.
Morrison is from Columbus, OH. Raymundo is from Galloway, OH, and attended Dublin Scioto High School.
