Trimbur’s paintings are his “personal observations of the rusted and destroyed structures that dot the landscape of Northeastern Ohio,” he wrote on his website.
“They are what you would see in the blink of an eye, an unintentional snapshot. I depict these observations in my paintings through the use of interesting cropping. Instead of painting the entire sign, I focus on certain parts, leaving the rest to the imagination of the viewer.”
In August, Trimbur’s work will be featured in a showcase in Cleveland, OH, presented by RAW, an independent organization of artists from all over the world.
Trimbur is from Warren, OH, and attended John F. Kennedy High School.
