Assistant Professor of CORE Liberal Arts Jeannine Kraft presented papers on Irish photography at two conferences in Ireland June 5–14.
Kraft addressed contemporary and landscape photography in her presentations at the New Voices conference at the National University of Ireland in Galway, Ireland, and the joint international meeting of the American Conference for Irish Studies and the Canadian Association of Irish Studies in Bellfield, Ireland.
Kraft teaches medieval art, baroque art, e-learning design history, and contemporary art issues. Her background is in medieval Irish art, but she is currently working on issues of cultural identity in relationship to the landscape in contemporary Irish art. She is a doctoral researcher in Irish studies with the National University of Ireland and has presented her work at national and international conferences. Kraft earned her undergraduate degree in English and master’s degree in art history from Ohio State University.
