CCAD is ready to travel

My name is Molly Gilbride, I’m the director of Off-Campus Programs and I am really excited to announce the launch of our new Off-Campus Study blog.

Here, CCAD students will share their experiences as they study around the globe through CCAD’s study abroad and domestic exchange programs.

Keep updated on the weird foods they try, the places they visit, the people they meet and the things they learn. It’s a great way to learn about off-campus study through student perspective.

In the coming summer months you will hear from:

Abby Staley a junior majoring in Fashion Design, and studying at the University of Arts London Fashion School from June– August.

Nick Weiss a senior majoring in Photography, and studying at the Studio Arts Center International (SACI) in Florence, Italy the month of July.

Rachel Maynard a senior majoring in Photography, Callie Whiteman a junior majoring in Illustration, and Lynnsey Oberg a senior majoring in Industrial Design—all of whom will be traveling with two faculty members to participate in a three day intensive workshop called Sketching Lab in the heart of Costa Rica.

Each student will be sharing their encounters while abroad through pictures and blog posts RIGHT HERE. If there is something you are interested in learning more about from our students who are off-campus, shoot us an email (offcampus@cad.edu ) and we will ask them to include it in an upcoming blog!

The fun doesn’t stop there… we have a line up of students who will be blogging from our Studio Roma Program and the New York Studio Residency Program in New York City this fall.

Don’t miss a post!
