In Associate Professor Hiroshi Hayakawa’s latest paper craft book, step-by-step instructions bring Frankenstein, Medusa, Dracula, and a host of other monsters and creatures to life.

Paper Monsters & Curious Creatures includes 30 projects and is now available for purchase in bookstores and online.

Hayakawa has published four other paper craft books: Kirigami Menagerie, Paper Animals, Paper Pups, and Paper Birds.

The 1995 alumnus studied photography and now teaches photography, material studies, and drawing at CCAD. He was born and raised in Japan and works in alternative photography, kinetic sculpture, and paper craft.

    I’ve just purchased the book and expect to have it in the begging of the new week. I have Paper Animals and it was so fun and my expectations about this one are high.
