<p>CCAD&#8217;s president is lauded as a Central Ohio leader who makes things happen, according to SmartBusiness journal.</p>
<p>Denny Griffith is among the most influential business, civic and political leaders—the Power 100 for 2011—as ranked by the publication&#8217;s editors in the cover story of the <a href="http://www.sbnonline.com/Local/Article/21285/70/0/2011_Power_100.aspx?Category=124" target="_blank">February issue</a>.</p>
<p>Griffith, the college&#8217;s third president, is ranked 67 on the list, moving up a notch from last year. He currently serves on the boards of the <a href="http://www.columbus.org/" target="_blank">Columbus Chamber</a>, <a href="http://www.iknowican.org/" target="_blank"><em>I Know I Can</em></a>, a scholarship program in Columbus, <a href="http://www.experiencecolumbus.com/" target="_blank">Experience  Columbus</a>, and the <a href="http://nasad.arts-accredit.org/" target="_blank">National  Association of Schools of Art &amp; Design</a> (NASAD).</p>
<p>Griffith also is involved in several  community initiatives including Columbus Student  Engagement Project  (a.k.a. &#8220;<a href="http://www.easycolumbus.com/live/content/index.html" target="_blank">easyColumbus</a>&#8220;), and Mayor Michael  B. Coleman’s <a href="http://www.columbus2012.org/" target="_blank">2012  Commission</a>, which is guiding the commemoration of the bicentennial of Columbus, OH.</p>
<p>Michael J. Fiorile, chair of CCAD&#8217;s <a href="http://www.ccad.edu/about-ccad/board-of-trustees" target="_blank">board of trustees</a> and COO of <a href="http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/index.html" target="_blank">The Dispatch Printing Co</a>., also is identified as one of the top 100 leaders.</p>
