Eric Jefferson’s “Overjoyed”

Illustration alumnus Eric Jefferson (CCAD 2004) was featured in Alive!, a weekly magazine that covers events and culture in Columbus, OH.

Jefferson is known for his portraits of African-American artists and musicians. The magazine did a Q&A interview discussing his inspiration and current work.

“There’s no better feeling then putting everything on a canvas,” Jefferson says in the article. “It’s also a great way to tell a story or even capture a moment in time, just like a time capsule. All my paintings have some sort of story behind them.”
