				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h2>International Housewares Association Challenges Seniors</h2>
<p>Industrial  Design seniors taking Studio IV are applying problem-finding and  problem-solving methods to develop innovative household products for  entry in the 2010 International Housewares Association Student Design  Competition. The competition requires students to 1) apply critical  thinking as a tool for innovative conceptual development; 2) explore the  design potential using research methods; and 3) create a product that  meets objectives revealed through research analysis.</p>
<h2>Juniors Bathe in Design Competition</h2>
<p>A  competition around the design of bath accessories that complement a  collection by DNA+, an avant-garde home design company based in New  York, is the focus of Industrial Design juniors enrolled in Studio III.  The project is part of an international design competition where  contestants must transition a vision into a working bath accessory for  daily use. Students can create products in the categories of furniture,  accessories, and lighting.</p>
