Fuel to the Fire: The Poster Design of Methane Studios showcases the recent, screen-printed posters by award-winning CCAD alumni and business partners Robert Lee (CCAD ’89) and Mark McDevitt (CCAD ’89).

The exhibition includes the duo’s distinctive poster work and is on view in Atlanta at Gallery See through Oct. 1. It moves to Savannah College of Art & Design’s Alexander Hall Gallery in Savannah, GA beginning Oct. 11–Nov. 15.

Based in Atlanta since 1998, Methane Studio’s client list includes a veritable who’s who of today’s bands—from the Dave Matthews Band to Vampire Weekend—and popular local concert venues. Their practice marries their distinctive, vintage aesthetic with each client’s needs and translates into unique art prints, which also are on display.

Both exhibitions are free and open to the public. For more information on gallery hours and locations go to www.scad.edu.

An interview with Lee in conjunction with the opening of the exhibition is at Creative Loafing Atlanta.

More information about Lee and McDevitt’s design and illustration services is available on Methane Studio’s website.
