Search across subjects; use this database to get started. Magazines and journals on a variety of subjects, includes full text and scholarly journals.
Defines useful agency-to-advertiser relationships for prospecting and competitive intelligence research.
For comprehensive research on modern and contemporary arts dating from the late 19th century onward. Provides citations and abstracts of journal articles, books, essays, exhibition catalogs, PhD dissertations, and exhibition reviews.
Art Source is the first stop for arts research. It covers fine arts, contemporary art, art history, architecture, costume design, advertising, interior design, crafts, photography, printmaking, sculpture, video, and more. With full text for over 640 journals (including many international), citations for even more, plus an image collection, it's a great database to find research on the arts.
Arts:Search is an invaluable resource for research into the history of modern arts, architecture, and design. It consists of three linked databases:
- Arts + Architecture ProFILES—a biographical dictionary of modern artists, designers, architects, craftspeople, and photographers.
- Design Abstracts Retrospective—a retrospective journal abstracting and indexing service.
- ReVIEW—digitized, searchable versions of nineteenth and early twentieth century art journals.
Berg Fashion Library
A unique online portal which offers fully cross-searchable access to an expanding range of Berg content collections–including the Berg Encyclopedia of World Dress and Fashion online, e-books, reference works, images, and much more.
Business Source Complete
Provides full text journals in all disciplines of business, including marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance and economics. Additional full text, non-journal content includes financial data, books, monographs, major reference works, book digests, conference proceedings, case studies, investment research reports, industry reports, market research reports, country reports, company profiles, SWOT analyses and more.
Cinema Image Gallery
Online collections of still images from movies, television and the entertainment industry. It presents the history of movie-making, still images of films in production, directors working on-set with the stars, set, costume and production design, as well as, hair and make-up shots and rare behind-the-scenes material. Cinema Image Gallery also offers an extensive TV stills archive, covering comedies, dramas, series, TV movies, game shows, and thousands of pictures of the stars in this medium.
DAAI/Design and Applied Arts Index
Indexing and abstracting coverage of over 500 international design and craft journals, 1973 to present. Covers new designers and the development of design and applied art since mid-19th century. Disciplines include ceramics, glass, jewelry, graphic design, fashion, furniture, architecture, animation, and industrial design.
Film & Television Literature Index with full text
Definitive online tool for film and television research. Subject coverage includes film and television theory, preservation and restoration, writing, production, cinematography, technical aspects, and reviews.
Issues: Understanding Controversy and Society
Issues helps students develop an in-depth understanding of how society shapes and is shaped by controversy, providing authoritative historical context, expert perspectives, and carefully selected primary and secondary sources on today's most important issues.
JSTOR is an archive of important scholarly journals containing high-resolution, scanned images of journal issues and pages as they were originally designed, printed, and illustrated. JSTOR is not a current issues database, there is a gap, typically from one to five years, between the most recently published journal issue and the back issues available in JSTOR. CCAD Library subscribes to the Arts & Sciences III collection.

OhioLINK offers more than 140 electronic research databases, including a variety of full-text resources. These databases cover many academic areas at varying levels of detail. Many of the databases are citation indexes.
Oxford Art Online
Oxford Art Online is the gateway through which users can access an expanding range of Oxford's premiere art resources including Grove Art Online, the Benezit Dictionary of Artists, the Oxford Companion to Western Art, the Encyclopedia of Aesthetics, and the Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms.
The Vogue Archive
The Vogue Archive contains the entire run of Vogue magazine (U.S. edition), from the first issue in 1892 to the current month, reproduced in high-resolution color page images. Every page, advertisement, cover and fold-out has been included, with rich indexing enabling you to find images by garment type, designer, and brand names.
