- 232 residents, double rooms within two-bedroom suites in Schottenstein Residence Hall
- 63 residents, private rooms within four-bedroom units in Design Square Apartments
Assignments:
Housing assignments for incoming students will be mailed in mid-July and are based on the completion date of a student’s housing file. This includes being admitted to CCAD, turning in a housing application, and paying both the security and scheduling deposits.
Important Dates:
May 4, 2013: Priority deadline for incoming first-year and transfer students applying for housing.
Notes:
Prices are per occupant.
Schottenstein Residence Hall is open for the nine-month academic year, including most holiday breaks with the exception of winter break.

Availability:
- 138 residents, private rooms within four-bedroom units in Design Square Apartments
- 10 residents, private rooms within two-bedroom units in Design Square Apartments
Summer 2013 Housing Application Process:
Applications will be accepted starting March 8. You may select preferred roommates; however, all room assignments will be made by the college. We will be housing summer residents on the fifth floor to provide space for conference groups and guests on the lower floors of the building. Our goal is to try our best to keep you in your current room assignment or next year’s room assignment if possible.
2013- 2014 Academic Year Housing Application Process:
- March 8, 2013: Current DSA Upperdivision Residents may apply for the Same Bedroom in Current Apartment
- March 11, 2013: Current DSA Upperdivision Residents may apply for a New Bedroom in Current Apartment
- March 12, 2013: Current DSA Upperdivision Residents may apply for a New Bedroom in New Apartment
- March 13, 2013: Current Schottenstein & DSA First-Year Residents may apply for a New Bedroom in New Apartment
- March 14, 2013: Current CCAD Students may apply for a New Bedroom in New Apartment
To apply for housing you will need to:
- Complete the housing application(s).
- Pay your $300 security deposit with the One-Stop. The One-Stop will check your financial standing (see applications for definition) when you pay your deposit and may grant you approval to live in Design Square Apartments. FYI: You will need to have completed your 2013–2014 FAFSA application.
- Bring application(s) and receipt to the front desk of Design Square Apartments and see either Mickey Hart or Erica Ott to apply. You should refer to the above schedule to see when you may officially apply.
Important Dates:
May 6, 2013: Deadline for upperdivision students to cancel housing application with refund of deposit.

Prices are per occupant for a private bedroom in a two- or four-bedroom unit.
Design Square Apartments will remain open 12 months of the year and throughout all holiday breaks. Residents will have the option to sign a summer lease during the month of February.
