An integral part of an arts education is drawing; more specifically, drawing from the nude model. Students focus on drawing issues as they relate to working from the nude model. Areas of special importance are proportions in relationship to bony landmarks, dynamics of movement through gesture drawing, likeness through portrait studies, and light and form. Extended poses predominate, providing opportunities for portfolio enhancement.
