This course examines entrepreneurship and the creation of new ventures through multiple lenses and perspectives (creation and discovery opportunities). Students learn the basic theories used to explain and understand entrepreneurial activity, which prepares them to work as a team to plan a new business opportunity and present it to seasoned entrepreneurs for feedback. The focus of the course is how to use scarce resources most effectively for the creation of wealth and prosperity, and how to form and lead a team to start a new venture.
