Solarplate is 21st Century photogravure. The printing process is traditional, but the technology of the plates themselves is relatively recent. Get fabulous surface textures and very sensitive detail, using photo or hand drawn imagery, and appropriated/ found objects; print in any color, or combinations of colors, make multiples or unique prints, chine coll� with decorative papers, and � la poup�e inking (multiple colors). Join this workshop and get a taste of the rich photography and printmaking history with a contemporary flare.
