Parents, family, and friends join us as more than 200 graduating CCAD seniors, including our master of fine arts graduating class, don caps and gowns, walk across the stage of the historic Ohio Theatre, and receive their diplomas. After years of creative growth, intense learning, long nights, and inspiring days (and a few X-acto knife scars along the way) our grads are ready to unleash their talents on the world and join the ranks of CCAD Alumni.

Information for Family & Guests

Seating

Seating at the Ohio Theatre is first come first served. No tickets are required to attend.
Reserved seating can be arranged for handicapped guests and one family member to assist the guest with special needs. These arrangements are made by the graduate with One-Stop Student Services when they fill out their graduation application. If arrangements were not requested on the graduation application, please ask your graduate to contact the One-Stop Student Services office as soon as possible.

Parking Information

Please note the Statehouse parking garage is likely to be full as the Tour of the Scioto River Valley Cycling event starts at the Statehouse early Saturday morning and there will be civil war encampment events on the statehouse lawn. Visit the Ohio Theatre's directions and parking page for directions directly to the theater and parking suggestions. There is ample parking in the garages surounding the Columbus Commons, which is just south of the theater.

Want to park and walk? Parking is free on CCAD lots and the Ohio Theatre is less than a mile from CCAD's campus. Google map.

Coming from Out of Town?

Planning lunch or dinner after commencement? Go to  Experience Columbus for information on nearyby restaurants.

Fun tip: Want to dine at a locally owned restaurant? Try the "local dining" filter when searching restaurants on the Experience Columbus site (you can also search by cuisine preference and neighborhood).

Guests are welcome to take photos in the Ohio Theatre. Commencement photos will also be available for download and purchase at CCADCommencement2013.shutterfly.com after May 20.
