John B. Carls is an award-winning film producer whose credits include the Oscar winning Rango, which won for best animated feature film and Where the Wild Things Are, which was nominated for a Golden Globe. Carls was the executive producer on The Little Bear Movie and Open Season, which he also co-wrote.
