How to apply for Federal financial aid

All students who attend CCAD are required to apply for federal financial aid by submitting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year.

Complete your FAFSA application

This form can be filed electronically at http://fafsa.ed.gov or by filling out a paper application. CCAD prefers the electronic method. Results from your FAFSA are then sent by the U.S. Department of Education electronically to the CCAD Financial Aid Office.

You will need the college code number when filing - our code number is 003039.

Request your Federal Personal Identification Number (PIN)

Request your PIN at http://pin.ed.gov, which will allow you to electronically sign your FAFSA application and submit it online.

The most common problem with financial aid is caused by missing an application filing deadline. Filing online is the best way to get the results transmitted to CCAD quickly.
