Schottenstein Residence Hall RoomsBelow are pictures and room diagrams that will help you understand what the rooms in the Schottenstein Residence Hall look like. The pictures provided are of a typical bedroom unit only. Please note that the furniture in the room can be moved around to suit your liking, provided the configuration meets fire code and safety regulations. Each bedroom will contain the following:
You are welcome to bring an additional shelving/storage unit or comfortable chair. However, please note that you may not obstruct the window units or the pathway to the door. Also, your additional items may not infringe on the personal space of your roommate. Finally, nothing can be permanently attached or nailed into the walls of the room…all items must be freestanding or be able to be attached by tape that will not damage the surface of the walls (i.e. masking tape). You and your roommate are also able to have a small refrigerator unit in your bedroom (one per bedroom only). It should be no larger than 4.0 cubic feet. Also, you may have one microwave that is shared by all 4 suite occupants. Please coordinate with your roommates regarding who will be bringing which appliances.
