DAAI/Design and Applied Arts Index

DAR/Design Abstracts Retrospective
The retrospective of Design and Applied Arts Index, DAR provides broad, international coverage on a wide range of topics in the fields of design with a particular emphasis on European publications. Indexes over 100 journals from 1903-1986, with some sources dating back to 1894.

Design ProFILES
Comprehensive collection of profiles in design and design-related fields. It provides information about more than 11,000 designers and design-related organizations that were influential in the 20th century world of design, including over 1,000 female designers.

Film & Television Literature Index with full text
Definitive online tool for film and television research. Subject coverage includes film and television theory, preservation and restoration, writing, production, cinematography, technical aspects, and reviews.

Material Connexion
Database of materials and processes covering the fields of architecture, industrial design, interior design, and textiles. Includes over 2,800 materials representing eight categories: carbon-based materials, cement-based materials, ceramics, glass, metals, natural material derivatives, natural materials, and polymers. Provides comprehensive product information, technical specifications, application information, manufacturer profiles, and material images.

OhioLINK Databases
OhioLINK offers more than 140 electronic research databases, including a variety of full-text resources. These databases cover many academic areas at varying levels of detail. Many of the databases are citation indexes.

Oxford Art Online
This major art reference source includes Grove Art Online, the Oxford Companion to Western Art, the Encyclopedia of Aesthetics, and the Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms. New features include timelines of world art, MOMA lesson plans, and thematic guides.
