ARTstor Digital Library
Searchable database of more than 500,000 digital images and associated catalog data. ARTstor covers many time periods and cultures, and documents the fields of architecture, painting, sculpture, photography, decorative arts, and design, as well as many other forms of visual culture. Users can search, view, and download images. Users must register for ARTstor from an on-campus computer. (This resource is available only to current CCAD faculty, staff, and students.)

Cinema Image Gallery
Online collections of still images from movies, television and the entertainment industry. It presents the history of movie-making, still images of films in production, directors working on-set with the stars, set, costume and production design, as well as, hair and make-up shots and rare behind-the-scenes material. Cinema Image Gallery also offers an extensive TV stills archive, covering comedies, dramas, series, TV movies, game shows and thousands of pictures of the stars in this medium.

Grove Art Online
Grove Art Online is part of Oxford Art Online. An authoritative guide with extensive surveys and in-depth, signed full-text articles on the history of art written by noted scholars in their respective field of expertise. This online version of the Grove Dictionary of Art provides external image links to museums, galleries, and art collections around the world. Select 'Illustrations and Image Links' on the menu bar to find related images.

Madison Digital Image Database (MDID)
MDID is CCAD's online, password-protected image database featuring over 15,000 images specifically chosen for classroom instruction here at CCAD. The database contains high-quality images from multiple fields of study, including: art history, fine arts, industrial design, graphic design, fashion, interiors and more.

Oxford Art Online
This major art reference source includes Grove Art Online, the Oxford Companion to Western Art, the Encyclopedia of Aesthetics, and the Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms. New features include timelines of world art, MOMA lesson plans, and thematic guides.
